The way we work is as follows ;

We supply you with technical know-how to ensure a real log burning fire that is guaranteed never to smoke. It never bleeds air into the room if the fire is not lit. It is easy to light due to our gas-poker assembly and it needs minimal cleaning due to an ash pit incorporated into the design to supply your fire with air.

The design side of your fireplace is a process you and our designer undertake together. This involves a visit of two to four hours with yourselves to which Mr Butler-Meadows brings his portfolio of designs, photographs, a video and his specialist knowledge.

He then returns to the office to produce a front view of the fireplace to scale for your perusal. When you have finalized the detail of your design, a technical working drawing is then produced for any builder to build to.

The flueing materials consisting of stainless steel liners, a canopy gather, high temperature sealant and specialist insulating materials are then delivered to site along with your drawing. Your builder can then proceed having all the necessary requirements for the construction of your fireplace.

Please note that we are currently the only company in the UK that can guarantee a smokeless solid fuel fire, this is our speciality. We are also able to provide the same quality design and flueing service for any fireplace - gas or log burning stoves.
